Amarcort Film Festival 10th edition - Rimini (italy) - December 10th-17th, 2017

The festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary on next December (10th-17th).
For this very special anniversary we will launch AFF-SMI (Amarcort Film Festival Short Movie Industry): an area dedicated to short movie industry, on December 11th, 12th and 13th, and it will be accessible only by professionals (authors, producers, distributors, buyers) with festival accreditation.
These are our proposals:

• a video-library with the aim to promote short movie for professional use. This will be available only during AFF-SMI days and for professionals with festival accreditation. There will be some screenings as well, at the Cineteca of Rimini, still only for professionals.
• round tables, conferences and meetings with professionals
  Monday, Dec. 11th, 3pm: Creative Europe - opportunities for producers (held by a representative of Creative Europe Desk of Turin) Tuesday, Dec. 12th, 3pm: Masterclass on short movies distribution (with Italian and international distributors). To follow: distributors meet other professionals.
• "Block notes", a pitch for authors who want to make a short movie and have already made a teaser, or found a part of required funds.
  Wednesday, Dec. 13th, 3pm: presentation of selected projects.

All these events will take place in a special area dedicated to AFF-SMI.
In this area there will be places available to organize your own meetings as well.
Authors are invited to submit their movie(s) to the video library and, in case they have one, a project to the pitch.
Submission of movies in the video library is open to distributors as well.

For this very special anniversary of the festival participation to the video library and to the pitch as well is free.

For the video library, we need the following information: title, genre, author, nation, year, running time.
Short movie must be no longer than 30 minutes, have been made not before 2016 and have English subtitles.
We need these information not later than Monday, Nov.6th.
Deadline for files sending is November 15th.

As for the pitch, authors must send a description of the project, amount required for project fulfillment and one between a teaser or a document demonstrating that a part of the funds has been found.
Deadline: November 12th.

Buyers, producers, festivals, professionals from movie industry and authors who do not submit movies or projects, are invited to take part to the AFF-SMI, in order to meet other professionals, attend the meetings and get useful and important contacts for their job.
