Amarcort Film Festival 17th edition is open to all filmmakers presenting digital short movies.
Festival sections:
- "Amarcort": international fiction and documentary short films, whose maximum running time is 30 min;
- "Aldina": international all genres short films, by students film school, whose maximum running time is 20 min;
- "Rex": international animated short films, whose maximum running time is 20 min;
- "Gironzalon": international experimental short films, whose maximum running time is 10 min;
- "Calzinaz": dedicated to documentaries and reportages, whose maximum running time is 25 min;
- "Gradisca": international all genres short films, whose maximum running time is 5 min;
- "Cantarel": international musical videoclip, whose maximum running time is 5 min;
- "Miranda": international animated short films for children, maximum running time is 10 min;
- "Fulgor": only for local authors' international all genres short films, whose maximum running time is 20 min.
- "Titta": international all genres short films dedicated to parents-children relationship, are admitted to this category short films covering the subject in question. Maximum running time is 15 min;
- "Volpina": international all genres short films dedicated to dance, to movement, are admitted to this section the short films that use body language to express emotions or tell a story. Maximum running time is 15 min.
Registration must be made online and using only the web platform filmfreeway.com/AmarcortFilmFestival.
Participation fee is $ 10,00 for each author.
Subsequently, the pre-selected short film directors must be able to provide Italian subtitles for their films, under penalty of exclusion; in alternative, we can offer a subtitling service at the price of € 5,00 per minute.
The competition notice deadline is scheduled May 31st, 2024. It will still be possible to submit to the competition also during the month of June, but with a price supplement.
The finalists will be notified by email. The results of the selection will be also published on the website www.amarcort.it, together with info concerning location, date and time of the award ceremony.
